Pittsfield Housing Authority is happy to announce we attended our first Housing Resource Fair that was held by the City and the Homelessness Advisory Committee! PHA was able to work alongside our fellow supportive agencies (Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity, Elder Services of Berkshire County, Second Street Second Chances, Inc., Service Net, Soldier On, Berkshire Country Regional Housing Authority and the Christian Center) to provide resources and assistance to those seeking help with accessing stable and secure housing. Finding affordable housing can be quite challenging and difficult, and by holding this Housing resource Fair, it aids in bringing support, guidance, and aid for those in need. We look forward to working with other agencies, organizations, and housing authorities to these services that are very much needed here in Berkshire County. Remember, everyone is welcome to come to the office to get assistance or to pick up applications for your housing needs, “Because everyone deserves a home.”
